Icelandic Investors Ltd. today announces it is changing its name to ACRO Securities. ACRO Securities is an independent securities company that has successfully operated since 1994 and for over a quarter of a century provided domestic investors access to foreign capital markets. In recent years the company has, in addition, acquired a good reputation as a leading broker for local and foreign investors in the Icelandic securities market.

The Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland has granted Íslenskir fjárfestar hf. a broader operating licence, which includes asset management services, the authorisation to oversee auctions without underwriting and the admission of securities to trading in addition to custody services.
