Two new members have joined the ACRO Securities team. Bjarki Hvannberg joined Asset Management and Þórdís Erla Magnúsdóttir Capital Markets.
Bjarki Hvannberg has worked in the financials industry since 2004. He worked in Asset Management and Fund Management for Arion banki hf., Stefnir hf. and Virðing hf. in the years 2004-2017 and then later in Corporate Credit between 2017-2022 in Arion banki hf. Bjarki has a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland and an M.Sc. in Finance & Investments from the University of Edinburgh. He is a legally certified securities trader.
Þórdís Erla Magnúsdóttir has had a career in the financial industry since 2017. Initially she worked for Landsbanki Íslands in Asset Management before transferring to Íslandsbanki where she worked as a securities broker and an analyst. Þórdís obtained a B.Sc. degree in Business and is working on her M.Sc. degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Reykjavik. She is a legally certified securities trader.
